Apartment looks over a lush garden. The bedroom comes furnished with a full bed (under-bed storage included), mattress, AC unit, and dresser (in the common space). The room has a small closet and there is some space available in a shared closet as well. 3rd floor walk-up. There is no laundry in the building, but it's located across the street from a laundromat.

Neighborhood:
Quiet, leafy, and low-traffic. Great for walking and biking, with many community gardens.

5 min to Hamilton Fish Rec Center
1 block to a CitiBike station
Immediate area: useful retail (grocery, laundromat, bodegas) and many well-loved neighborhood bars and cafes
10-15 min walk to busier retail stretches of the East Village and LES (convenient access without the crowds or noise)

Two of us work in the design space and one in media. Apartment vibe is friendly, chill, and generally pretty quiet with some visitors and small groups but few parties.
