We are looking for someone (no pets or couples) to take one available bedroom in our gut-renovated 3-bedroom 1-bathroom BedStuy apartment.
The room is 142” (11.8') wall-to-wall and 115” (9.6') door-to-window, can fit a queen-size bed, with two windows overlooking the street, with great sunlight all year. We are the 3rd floor of a 3-floor walk-up, so we have rooftop access as well.
The apartment space has hardwood floors throughout, AC and heating in all 3 bedrooms plus the living room. We have Optimum Wifi, a gas oven and 4 stove-tops, sink and a fridge/freezer.
Located near Herbert Von King Park, we are around a 15-minute walking distance of the A, C, G, and J trains, plus various bus stops.
Laundry can be done either in the basement or in the laundromat across the street.
You would be sharing the apartment with 2 other tenants:
- One in their early 40s, he/him, lifelong NYer who works in tech, hybrid work schedule, likes a quiet peaceful space
- The other is in their early 30s, they/she, exploring creative pursuits while seeking work in retail/service/analytics.
Our schedules rarely overlap, but we are friendly and communicative with each other, and seek someone who values open communication in order to create a positive and harmonious living space. Value cleanliness in common spaces (make sure you clean up after yourself in the kitchen and bathroom)

Current Tenant
You would need to sign a 1-year lease prior to a May 1st 2025 move-in (lasting you until April 30th 2026).
Monthly rent is $888.78, monthly utilities (gas, ConEd, Optimum) usually average around $70.
Building Management requires the following if you are a tenant paying yourself:
- Proof of net annual income at least 40x the rent
- Credit score of at least 670 without late payments
- 2 years of tax returns
- 2 months of bank statements
If you are using a guarantor, they must have the following:
- Proof of net annual income at least 80x the rent (covering themselves and the tenant)
- Credit score of at least 700 with no late payments, strong credit history, and reasonably revolving credit balance
- 2 years of tax returns
- 2 months of bank statements
- Sufficient funds in bank account to prove financial capacity
Must be able to provide the following to management:
- 1 month's rent
- 1 month's security deposit
- Submit online application
- Pass the credit check by management
- Provide copies of ID, proof of income, and a recent bank statement.
