Looking for a roommate to join my lease on my two-bedroom, one-bath in PLG/Flatbush for the next year!

The lease is July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027, with some flexibility for a later move-in for the right person. Rent is approx. $1575/pp (pending confirmation from my landlord) -- open to negotiating the split as your room is smaller.

🐱‼️I have a cat named dill, so must be ok with cats! He will not be allowed in your room without your permission. No other pets allowed, sorry!

About the apartment:

* Lots of natural light in the living space and bedrooms. Your bedroom overlooks the backyard with east-facing windows, gorgeous light in the morning
* Private closet in bedroom and shared closet in hallway
* Separate kitchen and full pantry
* Access to landlords’ backyard space
* The bedroom will be unfurnished
* Separate internet ($47/pp) and utilities ($45-90ish/pp depending on time of year)

About the neighborhood:

* A few blocks from the 2/5 train at Church Avenue, ~25-minute walk to the Q at Church or Parkside Ave
* Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, etc in PLG, and the new Lincoln Market on Rogers Ave
* 25-minute walk to Prospect Park

About This Lister

A little about me:

I’m a 30-year-old native New Yorker (she/her), working in nonprofit fundraising for an arts organization. I have a hybrid work schedule and am also in grad school part-time through the end of this year.

I love seeing theater or any kind of performing arts, and also enjoy yoga, trying new workout classes, coffee, cooking, reading, movies, and exploring new experiences around the city!

A little about you:

Looking for someone who is tidy, respectful, and social. I would love someone interested in being friends and doing things together, but also totally respect the need for space and downtime. Again, must like cats!
