My roommate and I are looking for someone to commit to a long-term sublet of roughly nine months (until August 1st). The apartment is in prime Bed-Stuy, with many bars, restaurants, community centers, and more within walking distance. The unit is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, near the A /C line and also plenty of busses nearby.

For more about us, we (M28, M24) have been living together for about 4 years now. One of us works a 9-5 as a teacher and the other is a student and works part-time in a restaurant. We're very easygoing and are looking for someone who can continue to make our space feel like a home. We're very communicative and respectful. Ideally, you are too.

The room (unfurnished) being offered is the largest in the apartment, with 4 large windows. Needless to say, lots of natural light, if you are a plant person, this is perfect for you. Its big enough to fit a queen-sized bed, a dresser and a desk comfortably. The unit is on the 4th floor and only 1 floor down from the rooftop.

Also, you would be living with 2 sweet, cuddly cats that are pretty young and have plenty of energy to play if that's your thing.

I'm a 28-year-old (He/Him) NYC native who studies part-time at Brooklyn College. I'm not home super often as I'm usually in class or getting work done in the local library, but also I like to be a homebody sometimes and just lounge around the apartment watching TV, reading, playing video games, etc. I'm pretty easygoing and tend to be a go-with-the-flow type of person. I like to chat and learn from others so ideally you are somewhat open to socializing and being friendly in the apartment. My current roommate and I have been friends for several years now, and it would be nice to have someone who contributes to the space feeling like a small community. We communally organize and clean the common spaces on a weekly basis.

For a bit more on my roommate (they/them), they are a 24-year-old teacher who moved to NYC 4 years ago. They like to cook, work out, watch anime, and play video games. They have to be quite early in the morning and would appreciate someone who is respectful of this and their desire to get their beauty sleep.
