Mociun is seeking a Seasonal Sales & Fulfillment Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role must be professional with strong communication and organizational skills geared toward driving sales. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and product knowledge in an inspiring store environment during the busy fall and holiday season. The successful candidate enjoys art and design, fine jewelry and is able to effectively and genuinely communicate this to our clients. Additional responsibilities include assisting the fulfillment & receiving team with incoming and outgoing orders. This is a part-time position (2-3 days per week) based out of our office and store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The schedule would potentially be: Wednesday-Saturday and some Sundays in December. We are closed for a few days surrounding Thanksgiving & Christmas Holidays.
The ideal candidate will begin in October and work with Mociun through the holiday season, with the
potential to grow into a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the store for opening and pack up the store at the end of day with respect and care for all fine
jewelry pieces
- Create a welcoming store environment by greeting each client and being available to provide
information and answer questions
- Familiarity with all third party artists and their collections, including proper care and maintenance
- Restock the store as items are sold and maintain an organized back stock
- Package and gift wrap delicate items in a safe, protective way, while maintaining presentation
standards
- Replenish packing and wrapping supplies.
- Cleaning packing and gift wrapping station and maintaining organization.
- Ensure that all client information is properly captured
- Ensure the shop is clean and presentable at all times
- Assist with incoming & outgoing shipments
- Appreciate fine, luxury products and handle fragile pieces with care
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role
- Fufilment experience
- Gift wrapping experience
- Ability to work in person (including weekends) at our Williamsburg shop
- Ability to work collaboratively with a small team
- High energy and positive attitude
- Familiarity with Shopify preferred
- Experience and passion for gift wrapping & packing of delicate pieces
