My partner and I are subletting our beautiful apartment while we spend the next year in LA!

The apartment is very spacious. The hallway opens into a kitchen area where we also keep a large dining table and bookshelf. Then, there are three additional separate rooms. We use one as a bedroom, one as a living room, and one as an office, but the office could easily be a second bedroom if you're looking with a roommate. The unit is on the third floor of a 4-floor walk-up and we have access to a lovely roof, where we host parties and do yoga. We're hoping to leave the apartment at least somewhat furnished.

We have great light, ACs in all three rooms, and a dishwasher (!). Each of the three rooms has an extremely roomy closet (like, roomiest I've seen in New York). The closest laundromat is across the street, and we're one block away from a grocery store and gym. The neighborhood is full of excellent cafés, restaurants, bars, and community gardens. We're about a 7-minute walk to the Franklin C and the Classon G and are on multiple bus routes.

We'd love to sublet to a couple or pair of roommates who are respectful of the space and our neighbors, many of whom we are friends with. Ideally, we'd like to leave our large pieces of furniture (and are happy to leave smaller ones, art, plants, etc. if you'd enjoy that).

Internet (Optimum) is $112/mo and Con Ed tends to be between $100-$200 depending on how much you use the ACs.

I've lived in this building since 2017 (first in another unit with roommates) and absolutely adore it. I'm especially fond of the roof, so much so that I've done several paintings of it :')
