If you are interested in checking out Kingston, this is a good place to serve as your staging point.
This furnished loft is the top floor of a 3-story red brick building circa 1890 located in the Kingston historical waterfront also known as the Rondout. The building is located on a bluff overlooking the Rondout Creek and the suspension bridge near the entrance to the Hudson River. The building is one block from the commercial part of the Rondout waterfront with a number of shops and restaurants.
The footprint of the loft totals 1440 square feet including a large back porch with a view of the creek. The space is decorated with Tibetan art and Central Aisa rugs. One bedroom at the back (14 x 20 ft) and bathroom are fully partitioned and the remaining space is open. A second bedroom or studio space can be set up at the front. The living space including the kitchen measures 22 x 44 feet. Ceiling height is 12 feet. The garden space is shared with the residents of the two other floors.
I am a retired teacher and live with my husband nearby in a country home in Woodstock with another home in Beijing. Our plan is to have this loft as our city home when we leave China in the near future.
