The street itself is peaceful and Franklin Avenue, with its lively, welcoming restaurants, bars, and cafes, is just around the corner. The apartment is 2 blocks from Eastern Parkway and the Franklin Avenue 2,3/4,5 station. The Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Museum are a stone's throw away, with the open spaces of Prospect Park just beyond.

Additionally, the building offers laundry facilities and a well-appointed gym in the basement, and there is an inviting rooftop deck area for the warmer months.

My name is Tim (he/him) and I am a 30-something teacher, writer, and graduate student. I'm Brooklyn-born, but I've spent most of my adult life living and working abroad (most recently in Taiwan). I love books, travel, art, food, and nature, and I try to take full advantage of both the various cultural opportunities and the proximity to the Park. I'm an avid runner and an enthusiastic cook. I am tidy and considerate, but not a neat freak. I'm generally a social person but I also value my solitary time. I sometimes work or study from home.
My current roommate is moving to NJ to be close to his partner, and I'd love to find someone similarly laid-back, responsible, friendly, and communicative.
