I am offering one hour, in-person or remote Spanish lessons.
Whether you're just starting or looking to deepen your fluency, I offer personalized lessons tailored to your level, interests, and learning goals. For beginner or intermediate-level courses I will provide resources from accredited teaching programs. For more advanced students I can complement such resources with conversation targeted at the student's interests. The classes I teach aren't only about the language, but also aim to convey a sense of Hispanic culture, if that is of interest to the student.
I’m currently offering online lessons and in-person sessions in New York City.
Schedule: Flexible – weekdays and weekends
Feel free to reach out with any questions. ¡Espero conocerte pronto!
My name is Fernanda, I’m a native Spanish speaker from Peru. I’m currently completing a Master’s in Comparative Literature at the Graduate Center (CUNY) – so if you’re interested in literature, philosophy, or culture, I’d be excited to include those themes in our lessons.
One of my favorite activities is to read—it’s what keeps me closely connected to language, and has helped shape my understanding of the world.
I’m friendly, patient, and truly enjoy helping people connect through language. Teaching is deeply fulfilling to me—not only do I love sharing knowledge, but I also enjoy learning from my students.
I have three years of teaching experience. I worked as a teaching assistant in Philosophy courses for undergraduate students at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. I’ve also worked as a language and English tutor for school-aged students, and I have experience teaching Spanish to adults.
