The Role

We’re looking for a Store Manager to lead the Oculus location—someone who understands how to drive sales, manage people, and operate with urgency in a fast-moving environment.
This role extends beyond the four walls of the store—you will also act as a key link between locations, ensuring seamless communication and inventory flow between Oculus and JFK.

What You’ll Do
- Drive Sales + Performance
- Own daily sales goals, KPIs, and store performance
- Actively sell on the floor—this is not a back-office role
- Increase AOV and UPT through product knowledge and styling
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion in real time
- Lead + Manage the Team
- Hire, train, and manage a small retail team
- Set expectations around selling behavior, energy, and accountability
- Create schedules aligned with peak traffic and business needs
- Coach team members to hit individual and store targets
- Own the Customer Experience
- Ensure every guest is greeted, engaged, and guided through the store
Maintain a high-energy, welcoming environment
- Reinforce product storytelling across categories

Operations + Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory, restocking, and sell-through
- Maintain visual standards and merchandising strategy
- Manage opening/closing procedures and daily reporting
- Ensure the store is always clean, organized, and shoppable

Cross-Location Coordination (Oculus ↔ JFK)
- Communicate regularly with the JFK team on inventory levels, top sellers, and gaps
- Coordinate restocks and product transfers between locations
- Flag low inventory, missed opportunities, and emerging trends in real time
- Align on merchandising, pricing, and product focus across both stores

Support Growth + Partnerships
- Assist with onboarding brands within The Collective (in-store placements)
- Support activations and in-store experiences
- Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day operations

Who You Are
- 2–5+ years of retail management experience
- Strong seller—you lead by example on the floor
- Operationally sharp—you understand inventory flow and retail math
- Highly organized and proactive in communication
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
