My fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment in Prospect Lefferts Gardens is available from June through August 2026. I’d ideally love to find someone for at least a month, though I’m now also open to shorter weekly sublets.

The apartment gets incredible natural light throughout the day and is especially lovely in the summer. It’s fully furnished and comes with AC, a TV, an air fryer, and everything you’d need to settle in comfortably.

The location is hard to beat:
— 1 block from the 2 & 5 express trains
— 5 blocks from Prospect Park
— close to great Caribbean food, cafes, and neighborhood spots

This summer, I’m trading Brooklyn for field research — and looking for someone kind to take over my light-filled apartment (and temporarily become roommates with Benito, my lovable cat). Benito is still a kitten, affectionate, curious, and excellent company. Caring for him is part of the sublet arrangement (daily food/water + litter cleaning), which is also why the price is especially reasonable. He’s easygoing and genuinely makes the apartment feel like home.

I’m hoping to find someone thoughtful and responsible who’ll enjoy the space and take good care of Benito while I’m away.

About me: I’m an Art Historian and researcher. Brooklyn resident who loves quiet mornings, neighborhood walks, cooking at home, and Prospect Park in every season. I’ve put a lot of care into making this apartment feel calm, cozy, and lived in — more like a real home than a temporary rental.
