We are moving and looking for someone to sublease our apartment for the remainder of our lease term from April 12th to August 31st (with the opportunity to renew in August).

A little bit about the apartment:
Our apartment is on the 3rd floor of a beautiful brownstone on a quiet street. It’s a one-bedroom apartment with a combined kitchen, dining, and living area. Three large windows let in plenty of sunlight year-round. There is a lovely and easy-to-clean fully tiled bathroom. On a good day, the apartment is about 340 sq ft, which has not stopped us from hosting sizable dinner parties (10 plus guests).

The building is walking distance from the A,C,3,S, and LIRR, making it very easy to commute into the city with A/C trains.

Other amenities include:
-Property management cleans and maintains the shared spaces once a week
-There is a shared washer and dryer in the basement.
-Open storage space in the basement (we’ve kept our bikes here/some storage boxes)

About This Lister

My partner and I have lived here for one and a half years. We moved from California and enjoy being a 30-minute walk from Prospect Park. We were able to do a lot in this space, but we are moving to live with family.

Rental requirements

Everything will be above board and done through property management. To apply you will need to submit an application in addition to a photo ID, proof of income (x40 rent), past rental history, and three months of bank statements. At the end of the sublease, you can renew the lease through property management.

We ask that you transfer the utilities (Gas, Electricity, and wifi) to your information and account and pay a $1350 security deposit that will be returned to you once our security deposit is returned after the end of our lease term.

Pets Policy

There are pets in the building. However, if you have a pet, please let us know, and we will contact property management to clarify the building's pet policy.
