I am subletting my 2-bedroom apartment in Two Bridges/Chinatown from February 4th – February 25th. My dates are flexible within that time period if a different length works better for you. It’s great for one person or a couple. It's on a quiet, peaceful street but is wonderfully centrally located. Important to note: It's on the sixth floor of a walkup building! However, because of that, the apartment has great ambient light and direct sun throughout the day. And this is quite a large apartment for the area!

The bedroom has a full-size bed, and the second bedroom is set up as the living room. It has a fully-equipped kitchen with an island for easy cooking and food prep. The central room also has a large desk with a work space setup (computer monitor and speakers).

I’m quite precious about my home and want to find someone who will treat it with respect, care, and cleanliness. I've put a lot of energy into making this a sweet and usable space and hope you can enjoy it too!

Details:
- Several laundromats nearby; there is one downstairs and also one down the street
- Radiator heating
- Window A/C units. I use a fan and keep the shades drawn in the summer to keep the apartment cool
- This is an old building! There are a few small quirks: the hot water takes a while to heat up, and the bathtub faucet is a little finicky. But it's a clean and well-maintained space.
- I live in a fairly 'zero waste' way which has a few effects in the apartment setup. The trash can and recycling bins are quite small, so it's easiest to take them out often if you're making a lot of trash. I don't have trash bags but use paper bags and reused plastic bags. I keep a compost bin in the freezer and there is a weekly compost drop-off at the East Broadway F train if that is something you're interested in! And I used a solid dish soap bar instead of liquid soap. If you purchase any cleaning products or disposable products, I'd prefer if you take them with you when you leave.
- I'm not charging an extra cleaning fee, and will ask that you leave the house clean when you leave (strip sheets, take out trash, sweep, clean the toilet/shower/sinks). However, if you'd prefer to pay for a cleaner, I'm happy to discuss that.
- There are a variety of low-maintenance plants (they will need to be watered weekly)
- Price includes all utilities
- No pets, sorry

Location:
- 8 minute walk to the East Broadway F train
- 15 minute walk to many other trains: Chambers 4, 5, 6, J; Fulton A, C, 1, 2; Canal N, Q
- 5 minute walk to a grocery store (C Town) and tons of fresh veggies sold on the nearby streets
- Endless great restaurants, bars, and amenities nearby
- Great farmers market 1 block away on Sundays
