Come live in Park Slope. This is a sunny private bedroom in a large 2 bedroom apartment. There are hardwood floors throughout and a full kitchen. The apartment has two commons areas - a cute TV room and a spacious living room. This is a 3rd floor walk up. The bedroom has one window, two closets, and overhead storage, it comes semi-furnished with a full sized bed. $1350/month utilities included.
The apartment is located 5 blocks from beautiful Prospect Park off the F, G and R train. 15-20 minute train ride to downtown Manhattan. Park Slope has great restaurants and cafes. We are two blocks from several Italian restaurants, cafes and Nitehawk Cinema. Laundry is directly across the street. There are several organic groceries nearby. Park Slope has a farmer’s market on weekends. This is ideal for someone who likes a mellow neighborhood.
I’m 42 years old. I’m an artist and an art professor. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 13 years. I’m a quiet, clean person. I like to read, meditate, do yoga, gallery hop, and play tennis. Very into leftist politics and nerding out on a lecture or panel. I have an art studio separate from the apartment, and I’m there often. I enjoy a good conversation and drinks with a roomie, but I’m also very respectful of space.

I’m looking for one person. Ideally someone who enjoys a quiet neighborhood and good company. I'm very clean, looking for someone who is as well. No pets allowed. I’m allergic to cats and dogs. I keep basic house rules: 1. No parties. 2. Overnight guests are fine, just no consecutive overnight guests. 3. No dishes in the sink overnight. I’m giving preference to those who want a short-term stay. Please send a little bit about yourself and what you do for work. We will find a day/time to set up a visit.
