Amenities. Features include central A/C, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, TV (Netflix, HBO, Hulu), dishwasher, hardwood floors, ample street parking, front and back entrances, and several desk and table areas for comfortably working from home.
The front porch has seating for morning coffee or evening cocktails, with views of downtown, gorgeous Los Angeles sunsets, and birds all around.

Transportation. The central location makes it easy to get to Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Downtown, Chinatown, and Highland Park, all within a 10–15 minute drive. Angelino Heights is also a beautiful neighborhood to walk through, with its historic homes, native plant landscaping, and wide streets and sidewalks. There is easy walkable access to dining, parks (Echo Park, Elysian Park, and Vista Hermosa), shops, and groceries throughout Echo Park, with the closest café only steps away.

The quiet and spacious bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized Nest mattress, a tansu chest, and a large mirror, leaving plenty of open space to move through the room. The kitchen includes a 1930s five-burner gas range and a dinette table suitable for two people.

About This Lister

We are two artists living and working in Los Angeles, New York, and beyond. One of us is a professor, and the other is an archaeologist, so our home is filled with books and treasures for fellow creatives inspired by culture and nature. We have come to love this apartment and the surrounding area and are sure that whoever stays here will find it a beautiful place from which to look out over the city.

We are looking for someone to rent for the entire two months.

We would entertain offers for shorter stays at a higher price, as there would be more for us to arrange.
* Potential renters should be prepared to provide at least one reference from work or a previous landlord (preferably both).
* A FaceTime/Zoom interview is required prior to finalization.
* Social media verification is strongly preferred, if available.
* A deposit of 50% will be required upon agreement to sublet, which will be applied toward the first month’s rent.
* The second month’s rent will be due within the first two weeks of occupancy.
* Renters will be asked to water our plants located inside the house and outside on the front and rear porches.
* If you are in the Los Angeles area, we can show you the apartment in person if you wish.
