About the Role
We are looking for an organized, highly visual and creative candidate to join our fast-paced team as a Visual Content Coordinator. The position will work directly with our CEO and Copywriter across all content marketing efforts. This position is part-time, part-remote and located in Dumbo, Brooklyn. A strong interest in marketing and art direction is key, as this role will touch every point of our visual marketing funnel. This is not a cog-in-the-wheel type job; expect your input to be valued across departments and to hit the ground running with key responsibilities.
Responsibilities Overview
Assist in all areas of strategy, management, and execution of visual identity on brand’s omni-channel Content Calendar which includes Instagram (grid, stories, reels), Email, and website to explode brand awareness through optimization of all channels.
Create creative digital content to drive qualified traffic for customer acquisition and retention. For each channel, this includes:
Instagram/Facebook:
Grid: assist with grid planning, image research
Stories: draft and outline daily stories including both product and lifestyle.
Reels: concept and produce reels that align with overall content goals.
Email: assist with design, layout and Mailchimp implementation of weekly email program
Website: review visuals to ensure brand identity is consistent and optimized for conversion.
Work with our Copywriter to develop and execute our strong brand identity across marketing channels.
About You
You love making things and making things happen.
You are highly visual and genuinely interested in all forms of digital visual communication and storytelling
You are highly sensitive to visual aesthetics and enjoy image research
Your communication and organizational skills are excellent.
You are interested in learning about web design, visual identity, brand building, email marketing, social content, and image research and organization.
You are seeking decision-making power while also being open to critique, mentorship, and collaboration
You have an eye for detail - we appreciate sweating the small stuff.
Proficient in Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom), Google Apps (Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets), Instagram, and Facebook. Bonus points for experience with Figma, AirTable, Shopify, Mailchimp, and/or Facebook Business Manager.
Interest in made-to-order, locally-made, and/or sustainable fashion is a plus. Also, must love dogs.
