Job Description:
We are looking for a one-on-one coach to help a young adult with anxiety build confidence through volunteer opportunities
Location: Upper East Side – Long Island City
Pay: $30/hour
Schedule:
Mondays 11:00AM-2:30PM
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience working one-on-one in a coaching, mentoring, or support role
- Understanding of or experience with mental health challenges (formal or informal)
- Positive attitude, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping others
- Ability to remain calm, flexible, and solution-oriented in various situations
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support and mentorship tailored to the client’s individual goals and needs
- Assist with daily routines and community engagement activities
- Model appropriate behavior and task completion at volunteer or activity sites
- Offer emotional support and encouragement to build confidence and independence
- Monitor and communicate progress, challenges, and updates to the client’s team
