Hi all!

My name is Danielle. I've been in Los Angeles for the last few years trying to break in as a screenwriter. I'm still keeping at it but I've recently relocated to New York for a change of pace because most of my friends are here.

I have a 13 lb mini Schnauzer mix named Winnie who will be living with me. She's an ESA animal but I'm disclosing her now so that there's no confusion.

I am locked into a sublet starting in April going until the end of May. So I am seeking a sublet-to-an-eventual-lease-takeover that starts in June or just a new lease then. I could also start a little earlier (May 1 or May 15) to secure the right place. I'm looking for a home for the next few years, not a layover.

I have a budget of $1800-$2600 for a studio or 1 bedroom in Brooklyn (ideally Bed-Stuy or Flatbush), Harlem, Queens, or the Bronx. Rent stabilized preferably.

I can do without but consider it a bonus if there's a W/D, W/D hookups, dishwasher, or backyard. I am willing to go higher for those options. No roommates, thank you! I know myself lol.
