I work with writers via Zoom and in-person for:
• one-on-one sessions ($150 per hour or $200 for 90 minutes)
• small group sessions (pricing depends on group size and length of time preferred)

About this Lister

I'm a Portland-based writer, editor and writing coach and I work with writers all over the world. I also travel to host writing workshops for non-profits, businesses, corporations, and large groups. When I'm not working, I play drums, make dinner, mess around in my yard, read fiction, and work on fabric arts.

Background and Expertise

I've been writing professionally for magazines, newspapers, websites, non-profits, NGOs, and businesses for more than 20 years. I started writing in 2001 because I wanted to make a living outside of my job as a nurse. Like most of you, I'd been told it was too hard to get published or make any money as a writer. I found out that was not true and once I learned the process, my writing career took off. Since then:

I've published hundreds of articles and two books.

I've coached dozens of writers to reach their publication goals and many have books in stores and articles in major publications.

I was a registered nurse for 20 years and that taught me how to take care of people as individuals, a skill that directly transfers to taking care of writers.
