Looking for a chill, clean and easygoing roommate to fill the unused second bedroom of my Crown Heights apartment. I’m on the first floor of a pre-war building that allegedly has a bomb shelter in the basement. The building is a 10-minute walk to the A/C to the north and the 2, 3, and 5 to the south.
The room has a full-sized bed that you’re not obligated to keep. It unfortunately doesn’t have a closet. The rest of the place is fully furnished, including a fully-stocked kitchen with most appliances you can think of. Other features: in-unit washer and dryer · gas stove · hardwood floors · high ceilings · central heat · AC included · heat, water, gas, and electric included · fiber internet included.
There's a short flight of stairs to reach the apartment so it may not be accessible to all. The people in the building are friendly and approachable. The neighborhood is walkable with lots of restaurants and bars down the street, with a large grocery store literally around the corner, and a park three blocks away.
I work from home once or twice a week. I’d like to find someone who isn’t remote full-time. Move-in and timelines are all very flexible as I’m prioritizing a good personality match. LGBTQIA+ and 420 friendly.
Reach out if you’re interested and we can set up a call or visit. Please include any social media accounts you’re comfortable sharing.

I'm a cisgender man in my 30s who has called this apartment home for three years. I like getting involved in my community and getting to know my neighbors. I typically socialize outside the home, but I also occasionally host small gatherings like board game nights, dinner parties, or movie nights – and you'd be welcome to do the same. I love watching movies.
Between my job and volunteer commitments, I really cherish having a peaceful, well-maintained home to return to. I'm looking for a roommate who's interested in developing at least a friendly rapport; living with a complete stranger isn't my ideal. Whether we end up being besties or just regular old housemates, my goal is to create a living environment that feels comfortable and supportive for everyone.
