One bedroom available in a 2 bed 1 bath rent stabilized building in Astoria.
My roommate of 5 years is moving out to live with his partner, so I’m looking for someone to come share this apartment with me!
The apartment is a 3rd floor walk-up a 5 min walk away from the NW Broadway stop, and 20 min subway from midtown. There’s a very clean laundromat (with tap pay thank goodness) less than a block away, and 2 blocks away there’s a really solid Key Food and a 24/7 fruit market. There’s a couple gyms less than a 10 min walk away (Blink, NYSC, Planet Fitness).
The apt is fully furnished except for the bedroom. Great natural light, pretty high ceilings, hardwood floors, and a solid size living room and kitchen. There’s a hall closet that you’d be welcome to share with me. The room itself has a closet and a window, and fits a full size bed, dresser, and desk - that said, I won’t lie, it’s not big.
I keep the place clean and tidy, and am generally very easygoing. I’m hybrid WFH, and usually spend 3 days a week in office. Looking for a chill roommate to share the space with.
Hi I’m Zach, 29 M.
I graduated from Fordham in 2017, and have been working as a Project Manager in the city ever since. Along the way I’ve lived in every borough (except Staten Island), and have finally settled down in Astoria.
In my free time I like going to the gym, hiking, biking, reading, and watching movies. I also play in a local darts league, and design band artwork for some friends.

Current lease is up for renewal, you’d be signing on to a one year lease with me. The landlords are a nice family that live in the area.
