Spacious 2 beds in a 4-bed, 2-bath duplex in the heart of Crown Heights — available 5/1. (both rooms must be rented together by one person). The two other rooms are rented out by one other roommate. See floor plan - you will rent out Bed #1 and #3.

In-unit W/D, a private backyard, two living rooms, and proximity to parks and grocery stores. Plenty of street parking. We have had parties in the apartment and backyard kickbacks and small events, all very fun and spacious.

First floor has two living rooms, a full kitchen, W/D closet, pantry, coat closet, and a full bathroom. Second floor has 4 beds, on opposing sides of the unit, and one full bathroom. Utilities are split evenly. So are some household things (dishwasher pods, cleaning supplies etc).

This is in a well situated crown heights neighborhood, 14 minute walk to the Utica A/C and the 3/4 just 9 minutes.

The building has one other unit — we have a friendly relationship with them, quiet, friendly upstairs neighbors, we look out for each other when it comes to packages and mail.

You will have a chance to interview and meet with the other roommate; she is a working professional (WFH M&F), easygoing, clean, organized, considerate and queer. Roommate will sometimes have partner's dog overnight.

It is very important before you apply to know that shared values is a must for optimal co-living.

The two rooms will be unfurnished, but the rest of the apartment is already furnished. The other roommate is planning to move out end of August and it is almost all her furniture, so you will need to refurnish at some point. She will also have someone take over her part of the lease at the end of August. You will have the option to renew the lease at the end of the agreement 3/31/2027.

This is a beautiful apartment and wish I was able to stay in it, I'm wanting to spend less on rent and I'm not utilizing the second room in a way that I was hoping I would.
