Hello! Looking for housing in neighborhoods in the north part of Brooklyn (Crown Heights & up) and between Downtown Brooklyn/Park Slope & Ridgewood. Would prefer to be near train lines 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, J, M, Z, N, R, & W.

Looking to move between now and June 1st, slight chance for the move in date to be flexible by a week or so. Open to doing a lease takeover as well!

If living with roommates, budget is ideally 1500. If a studio or 1 bedroom is available, ideal is 1900 but could be flexible for the right space!

My living preferences & lifestyle:
- Prefer a tidy home with a dishwasher, must be proactive about cleaning food waste
- I'd love to be able to decorate common spaces together
- I love watching movies, gaming, listening to music, cooking.
- I do like to host a party every once in a while (2-4 a year), but I'm always mindful & communicative with neighbors.
- 420 & drinking friendly, but no smoking in the house please
- Love a sunny place, would prefer not to have a ground floor or basement apartment

Solo living:
- Could be flexible on price for the right space!
- I'm pretty handy and can manage small home repairs, so if you're the owner of the space and want to ensure it'll be well taken care of, you can count on me!
- I'm a big fan of community building so I love to get to know my neighbors.

Housing with roommates:
- Would prefer to live with 1-2 more people ideally around my age and must be LGBTQUI+ friendly.
- My ideal living space would be something that has a large shared space, natural sun, and perhaps an extra bedroom for a shared office.
- I'd love to find a space where I can have a larger room with a separate bathroom (and would of course pay more)
- I have plenty of furniture to get a space started!

I'm Rachel, a 31 yr old cis queer woman (pronouns she/her/they) looking for long-term pet-friendly housing or roommates to apartment hunt with for a June 1 move-in. I work in philanthropy on a hybrid wfh/office schedule. I'm also a NYC native and grew up in Queens!

I'll be moving with my cat Willow who's very sweet and gentle. She could do well with another chill gentle cat, or live solo.
