Large, airy, furnished one bedroom apartment available in pre-war Prospect Heights building. The second-floor unit (out of six stories) features a spacious bedroom, a foyer, living room, and kitchen, with a full bathroom. Hardwood flooring, high ceilings and crown moldings give the space a gracious, expansive feel. The elevator building is quiet and the neighborhood friendly and vibrant. Two short blocks to the Brooklyn Museum, the 2/3 train, and the Botanic Gardens. Rate is inclusive of all utilities. Start and end dates flexible.
I am a writer and professor who will be traveling for the holidays. I have lived in the apartment for over fifteen years, and will be the primary contact. I have a dog, and like to keep the place tidy but wouldn't call myself a neatfreak. I do love the apartment, though, and would need to have high confidence in whomever I choose to sublet.
Requirements: government ID and $500 deposit for weekly rental.
Will consider one small pet, under 30 lbs.
