Hi everyone,
I moved away from New York a couple years ago and now come and go. I’m in NY for a little over a month now and would love to take on archival or organizational projects while I’m here.
My background is working with artists and galleries; archival work, editorials, websites, organizing materials and building systems around bodies of work. But I’m also interested in helping anyone with collections or personal archives.
I especially enjoy
*
organizing bookshelves and libraries
*cataloguing collections
*creating systems for photographs, documents, notes, ephemera, etc.
I’m detail-oriented, I enjoy the process of going through years of accumulated material and creating structure and clarity around it.
If you’re working on something like this, or want to please feel free to reach out and I can share more about past projects and experience.
I have been working in this field for the past 7 years. I’m 30 years old and my work is centered around art, archival and editorial projects.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time reading and being in my own space, though I’m also very social and enjoy working closely with people.
Relationships and long-term connections are important to me, both personally and in the work I do.
I studied graphic design with a focus on typography and branding. After graduating, my first role was working for a photographer where I built and organized a digital archive of his work. From there I worked full-time with two galleries. In between those roles, I took on freelance projects, including an artist website, artists book series, exhibition catalogues, archival organization, and creative direction.
A lot of my work has centered around bringing structure to large bodies of material, whether physical or digital.
