The Assistant Director of Operations will be responsible for managing the day-today administration of ecommerce sales, inventory, and customer service inquiries on our Shopify
platform.
Part-time: Starting at 10 - 15 hours / week. Flexible within the hours of 9AM - 5PM, Monday - Sunday. Job has the potential to grow if the fit is right. Working mainly remotely, but
also available for in-person meetings.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing daily orders with our fulfillment warehouses and general oversight of past or
pending orders
• Responding to customer service inquiries via email, text and phone
• Uploading new inventory and tracking existing inventory
• Maintain presence on partner sales platforms
• Supporting owner in day-to-day tasks as needed
• Product fabrication and new edition research
• Assist with social media programming
• Assist with art installations and art fairs as needed
• Problem-solving as needed.
• Light bookkeeping
Applicant Requirements:
• Have a great will-do attitude with aptitude for problem-solving
• Have real art-world knowledge in order to speak and write effectively about our brand
and products
• Have an understanding that small business employees wear many hats and no task is
too menial
• Be proficient with Photoshop, InDesign, and image correction
• Experience with Shopify e-commerce platform, Excel, QuickBooks Online, and Klayvio a
big plus
• Familiarity with Google and FB advertising
• Product photography skills a plus, but not required
• Be flexible, willing to learn and curious
