Available March 1 for short-term or long-term (until Sept 1 with possibility to extend).
Large bedroom with private en suite bathroom + large closet + 2 windows. Bathroom has 2 windows + a shower. Room can be furnished or lightly furnished.
Common area is huge with 2 living rooms + a sunroom + windows all around, including picture windows facing the sunset, with a lovely view because the apartment is on a hill. Washer + dryer + new dishwasher in unit. Large backyard + small front yard shared with 2 very chill neighbors. Hardwood floors throughout, although some are old and not in the best shape. Second story apartment, not currently wheelchair accessible. 8 min walk to Silver Lake Reservoir, 25 minute walk to Echo Park Lake. Street parking is always available within 1 block.
Common areas are furnished, including many book-filled shelves in the living room. You're welcome to borrow the books, which are largely about social justice movements, local history, literature, and more. Lots of built-in cabinets in the kitchen and living room. We can incorporate your furniture and art if you have them.
Sarah (she/they), 37, and Andrés (he/him), 40, into nature, good music, and community. Sarah is mellow and friendly, works mostly remotely but leaves the house lots too. Andrés works downtown and supports immigrant and Latin American struggles. We sometimes like to host small dinners and the very occasional larger party indoors or in the backyard, and of course you are welcome to join and do the same. Happy to have a roommate who does their own thing or one who wants to sometimes hang out and share meals.
