One bedroom sublet Feb. 16th - March 3rd in Crown Heights near the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park.
Price: $1,090
About the home:
This is a two bedroom apartment, one bath with proper entryway and closet to hang a coat and store shoes. Our home has basically every kitchen and bar accessory one could wish for. It's located on the ground floor in the back of the apartment building - totally quiet, no street noise. It's a four-story building with about eight steps to get in. The neighbors are quiet, always had good experiences with them.
In my bedroom I have a queen size bed, standing desk with a monitor, air purifier and humidifier all of which you are welcome to use along with basically everything else in the apartment. Our den (small living room) has a small couch that pulls out into a day bed style couch, TV with all the streaming services, yoga mat and weights. There are hardwood floors, a dishwasher, new washer and dryer, record player, Google speakers and Hue light bulbs in the kitchen and bedroom, and of course Wi-Fi. We keep the apartment clean and organized.
My roommate is in her early 30s - clean, quiet, relaxed and works from home. Her boyfriend is around a couple nights a week.
Transportation:
Super convenient - on the same street as the President St./Medger Evers College 2/5 stop, and two blocks from the 3/4 trains. In less than 15 mins, you can get the Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center station. The B49 and B44 bus stops are within a 5 min walk. The Botanic Garden shuttle stop is a 10 min walk away.
Neighborhood:
There are a quite a few gems nearby: a natural wine bar down the street called Rodeo, a cafe with yummy eats called Colina Cuervo, Lula Bagel and lots of delicious Caribbean spots.
Please reach out with any questions!
As mentioned, my roommate is in her early 30s - clean, quiet, relaxed and works from home. Her boyfriend is around a couple nights a week. She spends time cooking in the kitchen but is often hanging out in her bedroom.
A good fit for this space is someone who is busy with their life and isn't looking for lots of chit chat in the apartment :)
This is a sublet, there will be a document for you to sign and a deposit of $150. I can set up some time ASAP for you to check out the apartment or for us to FaceTime. You can meet my roommate in this meeting as well.
