Searching for lease takeover (or sublet) in Crown Heights. It is a quiet location right off of Franklin Ave. This is for the largest bedroom in a 3 bed-2 bath apartment on the second floor of a Crown Heights brownstone. Lots of natural light and a tree lined street.

I will be moving out of this apartment in late December because I am studying in Paris for my last semester of law school. I am looking for someone to take over my portion of the lease, but I am open to a subleasee. Earliest possible move in is December 23, 2025!
The lease runs through August 31, 2026. I have lived here for 2+ years, and the building management is responsive and easy to deal with.
As a final note: I can sell my bedroom furniture for a discounted price to ease move in (can include Queen bed frame, mattress, Ikea dresser, and desk).
You will be living with two welcoming, respectful, easygoing roommates who have lived in NYC for a number of years. Both are professionals in their 20s with flexible remote work schedules.
Appreciate a roommate on the quieter side, but we have also hosted small parties in the past.
For both leasetakeover and subletting, you will need to apply per normal NYC standards (ID document, proof of income, soft credit check).
Will also require a security deposit of $1800.
If there is a lease assignment fee, I am able to split it 50-50.
Building allows pets with approval -- I previously had a cat in the apartment.
