I (the owner) live in the building and take very good care of the apartments.
There are only a handful of limestone townhouses in harlem - this is one of the most beautiful, and you can't beat the location - on a tree-lined, upscale block that is literally in the center of everything happening uptown. We are right around the corner from the 2+3 train, which will get you downtown in 15 minutes. metro north is 2 blocks away, and the 4,5,6,A,C,B,+D are all a short walk. If you drive we're just off the FDR, which you can hop on and be out of town in minutes.
The newly renovated Mount Morris park is a short walk away with city swimming pool, gym, free concerts and festivals. Trader Joe's, Target, and Whole Foods are around the corner. There are numerous good restaurants including the ultra trendy Red Rooster, and the famous Sylvia's soul food. Stores include: Gap, Old Navy, H+M, Marshall's, Modell's, Office Depot, etc etc. Best of all - this is a real neighborhood - everybody knows each other and stops to chat, people say hello, etc!
Reviews from tenants:
I am a native New Yorker, and I have witnessed too many of my city's idiosyncrasies get covered over with white sheetrock. When I set-out to move into a bigger place a few years ago, it took me a long time - too long - to find a place that had that old New York character as well as modern-day comforts. I found it in Harlem on West 127th street. I loved living there, and you will too.

As a former tenant, I can say that I LOVED living there! The apartments are beautiful & spacious (on a nice, friendly street). The landlords are great people; they take care of the building and have a laid back vibe that translates into a peaceful living environment for all their tenants.....and even share vegetables from their garden!

I feel truly at home in this beautiful building, on this lovely street, where there exists a real sense of community amongst neighbors with the coolest landlords on the planet.
Living here has offered me a unique opportunity to experience life in NYC in an authentic neighborhood, and in a personal and peaceful building.
I can always find a parking spot! The best kept secret!

I lived in this house on 127th St for 3 years, during which time I never had an issue that wasn't taken care of promptly and effectively. They fostered a great atmosphere and a warm, communal feel. I remember the apartments as being clean and bright, each one possessing its own individual charm.. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as landlords.

We have loved living in this apartment for over four years and are only leaving now because of a job relocation. The space itself is fantastic - plenty of light, great air flow, high ceilings, and the original details (molding, marble fireplace) contribute to the overall charm of this apartment. There is a good laundry mat around the corner and great options within a few blocks for sit down dinners, by the pound buffets, fast food, delis, and delivery including really good Mexican food! The landlords are very cool but also very responsive to their tenants needs. The neighbors in the building are very friendly, quiet and trustworthy. I cannot say enough positive things about living here and would absolutely recommend it to a friend.
