Looking for a dynamic self-starter for production management and product development assistant position. Your primary responsibilities would overseeing the trim library, tracking production in person at our factories and other vendors, conducting QC, and managing shipping and deliverables, in addition to:
• Maintain all trim library and count out and manage all incoming and outgoing trim
• Communicate and follow up with clients and factories regarding production and trim details for all confirmed orders
• Act as a communication liaison between design and production/factories regarding garment and trim details, costing, and quality issues
• Work with management and manufacturers for price and delivery quotation
• Advise factory on carton packing instructions and shipping lists, and oversee all outgoing shipping and deliverables
• Provide status reports to management regarding any production issues
• Work cross-functionally with multiple clients, vendors, factories, and Factory8 Management
• Attend fittings and maintain thorough notes, measurements, dates, and other details communicated by designer
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in apparel production
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player while also independently managing their own work responsibilities
• Extremely organized
• Be able to move or lift boxes or bolts of fabric as needed (within reason) and run errands throughout the Garment Center
