Hi there! I am looking to fill a room in my 2B1B, since my lovely roommate is moving in with her partner. The room can fit a desk, dresser, and queen bed with ease. It’s very sunny in the mornings, since we’re east-facing. It’s technically a flex room, but there’s no “window” on the top, so it doesn’t appear like one. The apartment is fairly large - we have a spacious living room and a large (for New York standards) kitchen with tons of storage. We have two storage closets (plus one for each bedroom). There is a dishwasher.

The building is on the corner of the street, so the bedrooms get a lot of sunlight in the mornings. It’s a doorman, elevator building with laundry in the basement. We’ve really liked the staff and have had a good experience here. There’s a billion grocery stores and gyms near us as well.

Rent is $2k a month the room. Our utilities are generally around $60/mo for electric and $50/mo for wifi, which we split evenly. Our gas bill various widely depending on the season but it’s around $30/mo in the summer and higher in the winter because of heat. The lease is up in October and I would like to resign, so I have a high preference to people who want to stay on. I really love this apartment and the community in the building, and have been really happy here!

Though I have a hybrid work schedule, I’m often traveling for work, so there’d be large portions of time where you’d be by yourself in the apartment.
