Hi - subletting my room while I'm traveling for work next year. Flexible move in date, December 15th - January 1st, the 15th being ideal.
You can also could absolutely stay longer than a year if it works out, as I'd like to move into one of the room upstairs when I get back.
The apt is comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It's perfect for sharing as it's a duplex, the other two rooms are upstairs with their own bathroom. You get your own bathroom on the first floor.
*Parking Spot available as well
The other roommates are in their 30's and are creative hard working ladies.
The apartment features a spacious kitchen, two private balconies, a dining room and lounge area upstairs. We also share a massive roof deck with the neighbors, if you have a green thumb or like working outside, it's wonderful.
The room includes a murphy bed, which gives you so much extra space! I love being able to do yoga and workout when I put the bed up! The room also includes a couch, a desk, a big closet and two dressers. I will have all of my belongs out of the room as well.
I'm definitely open to having you extend / stay for over a year if everyone gets along. I would move upstairs if that happened. I've lived in all three rooms throughout my years here and enjoy them all.
About the area -
It's just a short walk to both the Graham Ave and Grand St L train stops, you're only 15 minutes from Manhattan and right in the heart of Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Greenpoint. Laundry is conveniently located across the street, Cooper Park is just one block away, and the neighborhood is full of great cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. The apartment is situated at the back of the building, so you'll enjoy a quiet space perfect for relaxing or working from home.
I’m a 38-year-old violinist who’s lived in NYC for almost 20 years and fell in love with Williamsburg when I moved here. The apartment is a calm, cozy space with lots of plants and cool antiques I’ve collected. I’ll be away next year for work and am looking for someone laid-back and respectful who’ll keep the place clean and take good care of it while enjoying the neighborhood.
You’d be living with two great roommates: one is an actress from Ireland, and the other is a native New Yorker who works at a few restaurants in the neighborhood. Everyone has busy schedules, so the vibe is relaxed — we hang out here and there but we’re all respectful of each other’s space and downtime.
Deposit: $1,000
Please me kind, clean and respectful.
Rent is due on the first of the month
I can also rent short term as well, but looking for at least 6 months.
Possibly a small dog, but that is a case by case situation.
