Our light filled 2br, 1ba apartment is on the first floor (2nd floor in American terms) of a 4 story monument building in the neighborhood of Weesperzijde, and has balconies overlooking gardens in both directions. At the end of our street is the Amstel River park, where people come to relax, exercise, picnic, row, and even swim during the summer months. Across the river is the trendy neighborhood of De Pijp, which is filled with some of the best cafes, wine bars and restaurants Amsterdam has to offer.

We're a 5-15 minute bike ride from just about anywhere in the city, and we also have the metro station at the end of our block, and the above ground tram a block away, in case you're not up for biking in the rain.

Our apartment also has a washer and a dryer, as well as a dishwasher.

We're traveling a bunch this year, and so our home is being made available from Aug - Dec

My wife is from Mexico and has a business here importing rugs, ceramics and other craft products from Mexico. I am from the US and work in tech but also run a small coffee business on the side here, so our apartment is filled with lots of beautiful art, and we'll be sure to leave behind some fresh roasted coffee from the mountains of Costa Rica.
