I am an experienced nanny/babysitter having worked with kids from ages several months old to 15 years old and am open to discussing full time and part time nannying/babysitting opportunities in the neighborhood.

I also own two dogs myself and work with a New York City based dog rescue and have experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am available for in-home dog sitting, dog walking, drop-ins, overnight dog sitting, and dog boarding in my own home.

My name is Emma Bernstein and I am 27 years old. I'm originally from Los Angeles but have been living in New York for 5 and a half years. I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs New York and am a represented freelance film and tv writer.

I am capable of cooking and baking, caring for pets, changing diapers, doing light housework (dishes, wiping down countertops, etc). I have a driver's license and am very comfortable driving in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and outside of the city as well if needed.

Background and Expertise

I most recently nannied for a family of 3 out in Westchester. Their children were 8, 11, and 15 years old. I was responsible for getting them up, dressed, fed, and out waiting for the bus. I also picked them up from school and took them to after school activities. I am able to help with homework (to a degree - Calculus might be too deep in the brain archives by now), am active and love being outdoors, and am quite creative (love me a trip to Michaels!).

I've also babysat consistently for a young family with a child who was between 5 and 8 months old at the time of my care so I am versed in caring for a child of that age range and beyond.
