Personal assistant 5-15 hours a week

I am looking for a super reliable and skilled assistant to work in tandem with my current (wonderful) assistant on a wide variety of household, personal care and organizational tasks.

Big plus if you have a car and are willing to use it for ocasional errands/tasks within 1.5 miles of my home—however this is not required.

Also a plus if you speak Spanish and/or are handy and enjoy doing little “fixes” around the home—but again, this is not required.

I have a recurring health issue which usually last approx 4-5 months of every year. During these times you would do grocery shopping, meal prep/cook every few days, basic cleaning and encourage me to do physical therapy exercises for a few minutes — ideally 2x day.

I also rent an apartment in San Miguel De Allende Mexico in a small complex that always has at least one small furnished studio available where you would stay if you accompanied me there, and ideally you will like the idea of being in Mexico for a few months and having the option to return.

One challenge is not knowing when the health issues will arise and therefore exactly when travel will happen. Often I only have about 72 hours warning before I am incapacitated.

Regardless of state of health, I have a “To Do” list that includes everything from prepping and painting radiators to picking up meals at the local senior center a block away, to house cleaning, to photographing and creating PDFs of sheet music, to selling items on Facebook market place.

Pay is between $20.65 and $30 hr depending on your skill set and other variables—and will involve onboarding with PPL which is an organization that oversees a few hours of online training and very reliable payment through an app. All “fix it”jobs and tasks involving a car will pay $30hr

Work can start as soon as April 2nd 2026. I’d like a one year commitment if humanly possible.

Also…I have a bedroom available as of June 1st in my Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn apartment and we can arrange a separate rental agreement if it would suit you to live here. Please be sure to mention in your response if you may be interested in renting a room as well.
