We are a small clothing line working with handmade textiles, We are seeking someone to help throughout the summer month into Fall with online orders, preparing garments for clients and shipping. Help with production, dropping items off to the garment district. Helping us stay structured and organized. Creating schedules, using google sheets, and shopify. This person can also help with different facets of design based on their experience.
The candidate should be organized, diligent, capable to wrap and iron garments with love. Helping us add new merchandise to the site, taking product photos on occassion.
- experience with shopify, or familiar with it
- ability to iron clothing and fold,
- we process all garments for shipping in our offices.
- ability to do spreadsheets
- interest in handmade textiles
- ability to quality control fabric
-can wrap and pack packages with love- we are perfectionists with this-
- ability to pick up bags from garment district and drop off to our offices. pick up trims
-keep open communication between all facets of the studio-
- can help keep a structured environment - creating calendars and helping with efficiency.
Has a problem solving attitude.
Hours are 3 days a week- flexible- total 15-18 hours to start

We function as a small textiles atelier and we are looking for summer coverage to keep us on schedule. Opportunity for long term as well. Candidate can have textile or design background ideally or a strong interest in visual, photography, and helping us merchandise our website.
