About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and committed candidate to join our rapidly-growing small business as a Fulfillment Assistant. A strong interest in operations, logistics and customer experience is key, as this role involves executing product fulfillment, inventory management, and the other vital functions required to keep the lights on. This position is part-time and located in our Dumbo, Brooklyn Studio.
Responsibilities Overview
- Assist with all NAOMI NOMI fulfillment, including quality control, packing, and shipping orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Prepare packaging for inventory (folding tissue and boxes for up to 100 garments monthly)
- Track inventory both physically in the studio and digitally in Airtable, accounting for returns/exchanges.
- Maintain studio supplies and packaging inventory, optimize inventory and fulfillment spaces as needed.
- Communicate with Client Services Manager to ensure all exchanges are properly tracked.
About You
- While not required, retail or back of house experience strongly preferred.
- You love making things and making things happen. Whether it’s making a work process more efficient or reupholstering a chair on the weekend, you are a doer.
- You are interested in the behind-the-scenes functions of a small business, including, but not limited to, shipping, billing and finance, and inventory management.
- You are solution oriented and appreciate improving processes. - You can devise contingency plans if/when things go awry, respond effectively when problems arise, and don’t let potential issues fester.
- You have an eye for detail - we sweat the small stuff.
- Interest in made-to-order, locally-made, and/or sustainable fashion is a plus. Also, must love dogs.
