The light filled home features high ceilings, exposed brick, full eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Perfect for someone who wants to use the space as a photo studio in a live/work capacity. Perfect for an artist visiting NYC for a short period with a family who wants a space to live while here.
The place is fully furnished with 5 beds, 3 queen and 2 twin. It is an 1890's brick house so although renovated it comes with its quirks. I do have a handyman on standby and visit the place regularly.
The first floor features full eat in kitchen with a new stainless steel gas burner stove, microwave and refrigerator.
Upstairs you will find 3 full bedrooms with 3 queen sized beds, and trundle twin bed with an extra mattress underneath.
There is one bathroom in the home which is upstairs was recently updated with new floors, vanity and toilet which the photos don't show.
There is also a deck off the kitchen. The place is quaint and cozy while being quite spacious for New York.
The rate includes all utilities, wifi and monthly cleaning. The utilities will be more if you use the space for work.
This is for short term only 6 months max. I am open to shorter periods. The weekly rate is $1500.
The neighborhood is filled with artists. There's places to eat, drink and the only bookstore in the Bronx is a few blocks away. The 6 train is walking distance, citibikes are a block away. It is easy to get ride shares in and out of Manhattan as the home is near the expressway and the Willis Avenue Bridge.
I am a Former Professor and live nearby. I’ve owned the home for many years having saved and scraped to buy many years ago.
I am community minded and looking for someone who wants to live in a quaint area on the rise. The home affronts an expressway so during the day sometimes there is noise.
