Spring in Vermont isn’t about doing more—it’s about finally slowing down.
This is the season locals keep to themselves. The crowds are gone, the pace softens, and the days feel wide open. Mornings start slow with coffee and quiet. Rain on the windows becomes part of the experience. Nights are for cooking, reading, and actually unwinding.
Our home is designed for exactly that.
Whether you’re looking to reset for a few days, work remotely in peace, or just step out of the city for a minute, this space gives you room to breathe. Strong WiFi, comfortable work areas, and a calm, grounded atmosphere make it easy to settle in and stay awhile.
You’re just a short 1 hour drive from Stowe if you feel like getting out—think low-key dinners, local shops, and scenic drives—but the real draw is having nowhere you need to be.
This is Vermont at its most honest. A little muddy, a little quiet—and exactly what you didn’t know you needed.
Hello and welcome — My name is Fritz. This Vermont home has been in my family for generations, and it holds a special place in our hearts. Built in 1865, it has seen many seasons of laughter, creativity, and connection. While I live and work in Brooklyn, I return here whenever I can to slow down, recharge, and find inspiration in the mountains and meadows.
I am an artist at heart, and someone who deeply values art, history, and the beauty of nature. I’ve lovingly prepared this home for guests who seek the same sense of calm and creativity it’s given my family — whether you’re coming to paint, write, or simply take a break from the city’s noise.
You’ll find thoughtful touches throughout the house — from cozy reading nooks to open windows framing the changing light — all designed to help you settle in and feel at home. I’m always happy to share local recommendations or hidden trails nearby, and I take pride in welcoming guests who will appreciate the home’s spirit as much as we do.
This isn’t just a rental — it’s a place meant to be lived in, dreamed in, and cared for.
Depending on length of rental period, we would require either security deposits, insurance and or payment/income verification.
