Afternoon all, looking for a new roommate for amount fabulous Clinton Hill apartment starting August 1st.
The Apartment: Our Clinton Hill apartment is a fully furnished, spacious, renovated brownstone duplex with a private roof deck on a quiet street. The apartment is a 4 bedroom/3 full bath, which is truly a rarity. Three bedrooms, including the one available, and two bathrooms are located on the first floor. The fourth bedroom, third bathroom, and rooftop deck are located on the top floor. The fully furnished roof deck is our outdoor living room, it makes the apartment feel huge and is an incredibly special space.
High ceilings, wood floors, accent brick walls, large windows, central air, newer appliances (including a dishwasher!), and bathroom fixtures are just a few of the features we enjoy. We also have shared laundry and a private storage room in the basement.
The Room: The room has high ceilings and fits a queen bed and desk. It has a large (two door) built-in custom closet and a large window. The bathroom is shared with one person and is equipped with a rain shower head, handheld shower head, and has a large deep tub as well as built in and room for additional storage.
Furniture: The bed and mattress are for sale. The common space is fully furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped. We are hoping to replace the couch.
The Price: Rent for August is $ 1309. Starting in September it is going up to 1413.98 . Utilities total generally come to about $100 per month, 20-40 more when the AC is on. Additionally, we use a cleaning lady for the common areas monthly ($20). We sign a new two year lease in September 2025, our new roommate would be joining this lease. As evidenced by this rooms availability, people come and go, plans change, but hoping to find someone who wants some stability with their next apartment.
The Neighborhood: The apartment is conveniently located between the Clinton/Washington C (10 min walk), the Classen G (4 min walk), and Nostrand A. There are plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and bars nearby. Its a 15 minute neighborhood. Fort Greene and Prospect Parks are a short walk away. We're also dangerously positioned right in between the delicious Speedy Romeo and Entre Nous 🙂

The Roommates: We are three female roommates and our fourth roommate is someone chill, clean, and respectful. We occasionally hang on the roof and often enjoy a meal together. While we could live independently, having roommates is a bonus, a choice, and we enjoy the company it affords.
We have hosted community yoga on the roof, book club, and pot lucks. We are conscientious about the community building we want and balancing it with maintaining a comfortable shared space.
The "fifth roommate" is Harley, a sweet rescue mix weighing in at 65 lbs. We hope you will enjoy her company. Unfortunately, we only feel comfortable with one pet in the apartment.
The apartment is 420 friendly.
The landlord will require first months rest, a security deposit (1 months rent), and proof of income.
