My name is Shan, and I am seeking any leads to finding a new pet-friendly living space for myself, my husband, and my feline baby, Miyu.

We have been experiencing a very tumultuous housemate situation for the past few months, that keeps escalating despite all my efforts to assuage. It’s now at the point where I am truly worried about our safety, and continuing to have a roof above our heads.

If anyone is renting, even subletting, a studio or small one-bedroom (we would even consider another housemate situation, maybe), even temporarily, I would greatly appreciate ANY leads at all.

What we're looking for:
- Unfurnished
- Price range: <$1900 (if at all possible)
- Open to either short-term or long-term opportunities.
- We are currently in Queens, and wouldn't mind staying in the borough. However, we are definitely open to moving outside if that's what's available (Brooklyn, even Nassau County/Long Island).
- We've set 11/1/24 as potential move-in date, but that is very flexible, whether sooner or later.

It’s just us 3 (two adults + a cat), and we do genuinely care about being clean, quiet, and respectful tenants/housemates.

My husband works in a bank, and I am currently searching for a new role (preferably WFH) that would be suitable as I learn to manage my recent autoimmune/chronic illness diagnoses.

I'm currently experiencing an untenable housemate situation, made more heartbreaking due to the familial connection that exists, and am nervous about being house-less as the temperatures cool and I am still learning to manage my recently-diagnosed autoimmune conditions.
