I’m subletting my sunny and spacious 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of Bed Stuy on the top floor of a well-kept luxury building. Key amenities include a large private balcony, awesome skyline views from the living and bedroom, deep soak bath, gym, laundry, bike storage, central AC, and shared backyard, rooftop, and terrace spaces.
The price and dates can be flexible. My date range is from December 8 - May 7, my absolute minimum is 2 months. Price is $3400 *including utilities*, which covers month rent, Fios wifi, and the winter electricity costs.

APARTMENT
The (negotiable) monthly rent includes a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Verizon Fios Internet and electricity. The bedroom and living room have oversized windows so tons of light and some of the best views of Manhattan and BTBK is guaranteed.
The bedroom is a good size and features a full bed, blackout curtains, and a West Elm dresser and nightstand and large closet that will be fully available to you. Did I mention the skyline views are swoon-worthy?
The living room is super cozy with a large comfy sofa and a good reading chair in the corner. You’ll have access to my 55” smart TV and can download whatever streaming services you need. This space also features oversized windows and skyline views.
The kitchen offer plenty of counter space and will come with a microwave, nutri-bullet, instapot, crockpot, juicer, coffee grinder, electric kettle and Chemex to name a few. As someone who almost never cooks, I have all the pots and pans, gadgets, and dishes you need!
THE BUILDING
The apartment is a west-facing penthouse unit on the top floor (floor 6) of a modern, elevator building on a cute and friendly block. The building includes a secure package and bike rooms, gym, building access to a covered parking garage, laundry room with 12 W/D machines, and a game room and lounge/workspace. Trash and recycling rooms are on each floor so you don’t have to worry about trash day or whatever Eric Adams will mandate next. You’ll also have access to a shared backyard, and a shared rooftop with great views from Brooklyn and Manhattan and an east-facing quiet terrace on the 6th floor steps from the apartment - it’s a great spot for your morning coffee!
Management is responsive to repairs and typically comes within one day, and someone is actually cleaning the building six days a week, it’s amazing. The neighbors in the building are working professionals or young families 30+ and are quiet and respectful, especially on the weekdays.
THE LOCATION
The building is 3-minute walk to Herbert Von King park, 10-12 minutes to Bedford Nostrand and Myrtle Willoughby (G), and 17 minutes to Myrtle Wycoff JMZ. It’s easy get across Brooklyn on the bus route - I’m steps from the B38 and B43 and a few minutes from the B52, B54+.
There are three good grocery stores within a few minutes walk with two right at the other end of the block, as well as several local hardware stores and pharmacies, Home Depot and Walgreens are 12 minutes away.
I’m a close walk to Bed Stuy favorites like Sally’s and BKLN Blend, other neat neighborhod spots are about 10-15 minutes down the road - Paul’s, Do or Dive, C’mon Everybody, Captain Dan’s Tavern, Corto, Little Grenjai, Frog, Barb’s, Zig Zag, etc, etc.
