Spacious and sun-drenched modern 1 bedroom in West Harlem, on the same block as the 125th A/C/B/D line, centrally located and close to parks, restaurants, every kind of grocery store and more, well-known Harlem arts spaces, and multiple other train lines including the Metro North. $2850/month rent, plus ~$200/mo in utilities (energy + internet). Discount will apply for any pet/plant sitting.

**Ideal dates between November 1 - January 1; my travel isn't fully fleshed, but hoping to book around having a good subletter! Hoping for at least Nov 1 - Dec 1**

Plant watering required. I also have a cat so the ideal sub-letter would also pet sit for her during their stay; this includes daily feeding, cleaning her litter and fountain weekly, and a little play time occasionally. I am offering $1000 off the rent for this!
If pet-sitting isn't possible but you're interested, inquire anyway - I can have her stay with a friend.

Not wheelchair accessible - stairs to enter building, and stairs from Floor 1 to 2. Then elevator available on 2nd floor to 4th.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Huge sun-drenched 1 bedroom very recently renovated and decorated, with an upgraded and spacious kitchen, comfortable bathroom with tub, and storage all over the apt! Windows are European style which open partially for a breeze, or fully to step out onto the fire escape. Alcove-esque work space with dual monitors, fancy chair, wfh workout equipment, printer, and giant bookshelf separating it from the living space. Bedroom features a comfy, soft, queen-sized mattress, weighted blanket (if you’d like), and four pillows. Lots of mirrors and DIY’ed vanity make up area. I have an XL Pilates mat and various work out equipment.

For exact size of the space, check out the floor plan in photos. Very comfortable size for a couple or pair, and extra luxe for one person.

Building amenities: washer/dryer (coin operated), elevator (still required to climb 1 flight), and wonderful friendly neighbors and super.

I am flexible because it’s important to me to find the right fit for the space. I am the leased tenant of almost 3 years intending to have this space for years to come, and am looking for someone who will treat my home with respect. Someone who is clean and understands home maintenance is a priority, as well as those who are good communicators and can keep me updated on anything that may happen in the apartment or their needs. (Elevator lobby finished? Lovely! Need more TP? Will arrive Sunday; that type of thing.)

HOUSE RULES & OTHER NOTABLES—

1. Maintain the space: cleaning, dusting, plant watering, bring in mail, report damage or any issues, etc.
2. You are welcome to use anything in the house but if you finish it, replace it and if you break it, pay for it.
3. Be kind to neighbors!
4. Trash and recycling are in elevator vestibules (on every floor).
5. Next door to a pricy parking garage, and one of Harlem’s only gay bars, might be loud occasionally now that summer is over (but never unbearable).
