I’m subletting a room in the wonderful apartment I’ve lived in for eleven years! It really is a great spot, especially for the price ($1500/month plus utlities). The room can either be unfurnished or a bed, mattress and dresser can be provided.

The basics:
Quiet, sunny room on the fourth floor of an elevator building in the middle of a lovely neighborhood (Clinton Hill).

Move-in date can be 4/1 or 4/15.

Looking for a minimum three-month sublet and hopefully longer if the vibe is good!

About the apartment:
-Fourth floor (there is an elevator) so usually nice and quiet
-Large shared living room that gets great light
-Spacious kitchen with dishwasher
-Third bedroom has been turned into a shared office space
-Lots of communal closet/storage space
-Charming orange cat at no additional cost
-In-building laundry

The room:
11x15' with two windows, a closet, and a storage space above the closet. Gorgeous sunlight in the afternoon. Usually very quiet, though you may occasionally hear some singing from the church next door on Sunday morning (a feature not a bug, in my opinion).

Location:
Cross streets are Washington and Gates. Half a block from the Clinton Washington C train so it’s very easy to get around from here. The neighborhood is beautiful, especially in the spring, and there are lots of great restaurants, bars and coffee spots on the surrounding blocks. Fort Greene Park is a short walk away.
