About the studio:

Ground level studio available for sublet 10/1 - 12/31 (flexible start and end). Cozy but spacious, I've curated the space to have an industrial feeling. The unit is fully furnished and "separated" into the bedroom which gets great light and has a desk and then the living room/kitchen which is a little darker as it's a floor unit. There's great storage and a double decker clothing rack. The couch is a pullout and great for visiting guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a large fridge, gas stove and oven, toaster, french press, cutlery and pots and pans, etc. Unit comes with a floor A/C unit (brand new and works great!) and fan for the lovely summer months.

No in-unit laundry but laundry service is available 1 block away in all directions. Included in the price is internet and water. Will bill electricity and gas accordingly.

About the backyard:

The real selling point is the private backyard (350 sq ft). I've spent the last year renovating the space and making it perfect for hosting small gatherings. This included adding a greenhouse, BBQ, patio furniture and market lights. With spring here the garden has really taken off and is my favorite space to work out of.

About the area:

I've lived here for a year now and love the neighborhood. Great location, walking distance to some of the best bars and restaurants. On a quiet street just north of Houston right between LES and East Village.8min walk to the F (2nd Ave), 10min walk to the F, J, M (Delancey St - Essex St), 5min walk to Tompkins Square Park, 3 blocks from the East River waterfront.

Who you are:

Looking for someone who is responsible and respectful to stay in my place while I'm gone at a discounted rate from my full rent.
I want someone who will take care of and enjoy the space as I've put a ton of work into the unit since moving in.
