Busy Millinery/Hat studio looking for a sewer to assist in all phases of hat construction and trim. Ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience using industrial sewing machines. Millinery experience a plus but not a must. This position also requires excellent hand sewing skills. We are a small team of artisans working in a manufacturing space where we block and finish hats for wholesale and retail. This is an hourly, part time position. Rate is dependent on experience. Days are flexible working 4-6 hours per day 2-3 days per week.

We are a luxury hat designer, manufacturing hats for wholesale and retail clients. We also provide white label services. Our studio is located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard area and we have four employee including the owner. Hats are hand blocked and finished on premises using vintage industrial sewing machines and handsewing skills. Our company is dedicated to providing premium quality hats and headwear using time honored techniques.
