Sunny top-floor loft 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment available May 6 through late June in South Greenpoint, right at the Williamsburg border. 12-15 minute walk to Graham Ave L and Metropolitan/Lorimer G+L. Available partially furnished or unfurnished — open to negotiation on what stays — and anything we do leave for the sublet period is available to buy at the end if you want it. Plus the option to apply for the next lease (unfurnished) if you fall in love with the place.
This is a historic building converted to apartments, with full amenities: rooftop, gym, game room, laundry room, package room, elevators, and bike parking. The kitchen has a dishwasher, electric stove, and microwave; A/C is controlled individually in every room.
We've been in the building a few years and are moving early — we want to pass the apartment on to a family or group who will love the neighborhood and the tight-knit community here. With the housing market especially challenging this spring/summer, this could be a good home base for a family relocating to the city and conducting a housing search, or for artists and remote workers looking for a residency.
The three good-sized bedrooms include one we've been using as a home office/studio, plus an upstairs loft with a full bathroom — a nice quiet space if you're working from home or hosting visiting friends.
We'll vacate by June 30 and can support you on applying for the next lease — in this unit or another in the building.

We've enjoyed living in this building for the past two years, but decided to move out to downsize.
We're looking for 2–3 responsible adults (couple, small family, or pair of professionals) who will treat our home with care. Quiet residential use only. Occupancy limited to approved subletters and named occupants.
Term: 6-week minimum, ideally the full window (May 6 through late June). Flexible end date but no later than June 30.
House rules: no smoking or vaping indoors (rooftop is the spot), no dogs, cats negotiable.
Process: Zoom call first to talk through fit, then in-person showing before any commitment. We'll ask for a government ID and two references before deposit.
