Hi, hi! Looking for a respectful, clean, considerate, communicative person to live in 1 of 2 bedrooms available in this three-bedroom apartment. It has 1.5 baths. Air-conditioning in every room. Hardwood floors, high ceilings. Updated kitchen with dishwasher. Both rooms will be unfurnished and are on the street-facing side and receive a lot of beautiful light. They can fit a full-size mattress, among other furniture comfortably.
Living room is mostly-furnished but welcome other pieces of furniture and art on the walls if you'd like! There is in-building laundry. Third-floor walkup, no elevator. No smoking is allowed inside. Ideally looking for female/femme roommates. Prefer not to bring the party home, but happy for you to host movie nights or dinner/birthday gatherings. There is a cat pictured who will not be in the space upon move-in (she's leaving with her mama!). Available August 1st (one of the rooms is available earlier, prorated based on move-in date). $1100 rent + utilities (usually +$50-70).
Great location! Coffee shops/cafes/ice cream stores (Brooklyn Tea, September, Passionfruit Coffee) and other lovely restaurants and bars within a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment. You can enjoy favorites like Trad Room, Peaches, Doc’s Cake Shop, Good Ol Days Diner, Mac Shack, LunÁtico, Saraghina Pizzeria, and many more. Historic neighborhood. Close to Saratoga Park. Major grocery stores nearby. Many renters in the building have lived here for over four to five years, one over ten years—very friendly neighbors. Super is very responsive. No major issues in the past year. Building is well-maintained.
5 minute walk from C train (Ralph Ave), 10-13 minute walk from Utica (A/C), 15 minute walk from J train (Halsey). B47 bus. Citi bike stations around multiple corners.
I am an assistant editor and am leaving this lovely apartment to live with my partner. My dear friend, Z, who will remain a current tenant, is a teacher and tutor at a private university in Brooklyn. Late twenties. Via Z: "I can keep to myself but am happy to hang out and chat. Am clean and tidy. Will respect your privacy and space. Love baking." I am helping them find people to rent, so you will likely be on calls with the both of us, and I am in the city and will be able to set you up on a tour of the apartment (Z is traveling for most of the summer).
Please be prepared to provide proof of income, recent bank statements, most recent tax return, and a photo ID. The landlords accept guarantors. Requires a one-year lease, first month's rent plus a one month security deposit ($2,200 in total). Thanks so much for your interest!
