Looking for ONE responsible, clean and friendly individual to share my spacious 3BR apartment. You will have TWO own rooms, totaling a private space of 200+ sq. ft. and your own bathroom/shower/tub. Sharing with me kitchen, dining and living room as well as the entrance. (I will have my own bigger bedroom and my own separate bathroom.)

Available on April 16, for short (3-6 months) or long (12+ months) terms, with flexibility in afterwards. Flat rent of $1700 includes all utility (gas, electricity, AC and heating, Wifi)

The apartment is a whole 2nd floor of 3 story building, totaling in roughly 1000 sq.ft. Your two rooms (pictured here in 2nd thru 5th photos) are identical in size, next to each other, each with a large closet. Your bedroom is currently furnished with a twin size bed, and the other room with a desk and storage shelf unit. Good set up if you work from home, or need your own art/creative studio etc. Common amenities in house include dish washer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, electric kettle, some power tools and DIY kits. We also have a cozy backyard garden, accessible through the driveway or my bedroom.

6 minutes walk to Jackson Heights-74th Street and Broadway for 7/E/F/M/R subways. 25 minutes to Times Square/Midtown, 30 minute drive to JFK, 12 minutes to LGA. Grocery stores, laundromats, playgrounds and great selections of restaurants & bars are all in the area, yet the street is very quiet.

I am the lease holder and the only individual who would be sharing the house with you. An established filmmaker/media freelance craftsman in his 50’s. I’m a male, Japanese American with my own family -wife and two small children- who live in Japan. I work in the city, in somewhat irregular schedules, I travel home to see my family when I can. I’m neat and respectful, responsible and socially adequate. I love music, cinema, cooking…

You will have to show me the proof of your financial stability, such as proof of income and/or bank statements. Please also prepare at least one contact of your former housemates and colleagues for reference.

No Smoking, No Pets, No Parties. This share is for you one person. No living with girl/boyfriend or spouse or frequent couch crasher. Although I don’t mind socializing and befriending, it'd be best if we communicate about any social plans.

$1700 per months rent is due on/before the last day of every previous month. Available April 16th and onward. Rent includes gas, electricity and wifi. Full one-month security deposit of $1700 required to close the deal.
